TRANSLATIONS & BOOKS ON THE QU'RAN

THE KORAN INTERPRETED, by A.J. Arberry
This is one of many good translations of the Qur'an (various spellings used by Muslims, and the one Muslims prefer).

THE MESSAGE OF THE QU'RAN, by Muhammad Asad
The dedication of this translation and commentary on the Qu'ran is: FOR PEOPLE WHO THINK. This translation, while much less flowery than most other translations, is incredibly direct and moderate in tone. Rather than sounding like a Bible written in old English, this translation rings clear and true.

THE BIBLE, THE QUR'AN AND SCIENCE, by Maurice Bucaille
A compelling comparison of the holy scriptures: the Old Testament, the Gospels and the Qur'an in the light of modern knowledge.

THE LIGHT OF DAWN, by Camille Helminski
Selected verses from the Qur'an offered in a fresh, lyrical translation.
